Construction

TA Corporation’s main construction business is undertaken through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cornerstone Builders Pte Ltd with more than 20 years of track records focusing on exclusive private and good class bungalow projects as well as commercial and industrial projects.

Leveraging on the high demand for precast components in Singapore property and construction business demand to enhance productivity, the Group operates a precast factory in Johor, Malaysia, servicing clients in both public and private sectors in Singapore. Our precast components factory in Johor, Malaysia, has a current capacity of 36,000 cubic metres per annum and the capability to scale up to 42,000 cubic metres per annum.

To complement our main construction and precast business, we also expanded our services to include the fabrication of metal frameworks, erection of building structural steels as well as management of Group’s construction machinery.

Real Estate Development 

The Group entered the real estate development business in Singapore in 1995. We focus on well-located projects targeted at the middle to upper-middle income markets. These projects include landed properties, apartments and condominiums built on freehold land acquired from private parties and leasehold land acquired from the government.

To expand our income stream, the Group ventured overseas through its foreign subsidiaries and joint ventures in property development projects in China, Thailand, and Cambodia. Its current regional portfolio includes distinctive mixed-use developments such as freehold multi-phased mixed development in Khlong Sam District, Pathum Thani Province in Bangkok, and The Gateway – an iconic mixed-use development comprising an office tower, a residential tower, and two levels of retail and F&B outlets located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Real Estate Investment

The Group owns and operates over 9,000 dormitory beds, which cater to foreign workers working in Singapore.  This dormitory business is part of the Group’s strategy to grow its recurring income streams.

Distribution 

In September 2012, the Group entered the distribution business to diversify our business and build new recurring income streams.

The Group, through its subsidiaries and 50%-owned joint ventures, distributes well-known brands, comprising Shell, GS Caltex and Repsol. In addition, the Group’s joint ventures distribute construction equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, passenger vehicles and automotive spare parts under the CASE, IVECO and VOLVO brands. Over the years, the Group has expanded its product.
